Studio philosophy
Bioclimatic is not a label. It is a calculation.
Every project starts with the plot: solar exposure, prevailing winds, local species, regional materials. No catalogue plans — every brief starts from zero.
Bioclimatic architecture is not a layer added at the end of the design process — it is the starting point. Building orientation, thermal mass, shade patterns, natural cross-ventilation: these decisions are made before the first line appears on the plan.
Local materials — Bordeaux stone, Landes maritime pine, lime render — are not an aesthetic choice. They are materials that age well, breathe, and integrate naturally into the Gironde landscape. They cost the same as their industrial equivalents. They last twice as long.

Consultation
We visit the plot with you before any drawing begins. We analyse solar exposure, planning constraints, soil characteristics, and the existing building. This phase ends with a detailed brief: area, provisional budget, indicative timeline. You know what you are committing to before you commit.
Design
Sketch, schematic design, technical design. We present several siting options before converging on the final project. Deliverables are legible plans and sections — not glossy renders that flatter without informing.
Planning permission
We write and submit the application. Our knowledge of planning rules across the Gironde and Nouvelle-Aquitaine, and our track record with local planning authorities, reduces the risk of refusal or requests for additional documents. The permit is our responsibility.
Construction supervision
We provide full project management. Weekly site meetings, sign-off on progress invoices, snagging. After every visit, you receive a written report. We have not disappeared.
One phone number. From first sketch to handover.
